Frosting Bath and Body is Having a Sale

Frosting Bath and Body is having a 33% of sale in their Etsy shop from now until 3/17.  Use the coupon code LUCKY on Etsy to receive the discount.  They have some new lotions listed but I'm checking out the eyeshadows myself.  I've included pics of a couple of my faves.  I have a thing for purple and I'm starting to dig greens too.

Frosting Bath and Body Review (Free Shipping Today Only)

I enjoyed trying the Poppy scented Body Frosting from Frosting Bath and Body.

Scent - This scent is very pretty!  Everyone in my family liked it and we all have different tastes.  The one drawback was that someone who is sensitive to some scents found that it bothered her (she still thought it smelled good though).  Noone else had an issue with it.

Lotion - My hands tend to crack in the winter and some lotions burn when I use them.  I did not have that issue at all with this lotion.  It was very soothing to my dry tight hands.  It didn't soak completely in to my hands so I felt like it was protecting my skin from further drying and softening my skin.

Overall I really liked the product. It's the kind of thick lotion that I like to use before bed.

The Body Frosting is not available in their shop yet but there are other items for sale including mineral makeup.

They also have a special today (2/20) for free shipping.  Use FREESHIP2 at checkout at www.frostingbathandbody.etsy.com.

Disclosure: I was sent this item to review and have given my honest opinion.  No other compensation was received.

Fluffy Chicken Pics and an Update

Chicken pics!  The chickens have weathered this Winter quite well.  Because of the mild weather we've been able to let them outside to play more often then we normally would.  They love to get out of the coop (insert "cooped up" joke here) and my husband scatters some grain in the snow and grass to give them something to do.

After an egg strike of about 6 weeks, they began laying again in mid-January.  Farm fresh eggs are delicious!

The Obligatory Giant Egg Post

Check out this enormous egg!  My first thought was "Ow" and then "oh, that poor hen!"  Everybody is doing quite well though.  We haven't cracked it open yet but I imagine it will be a double yolker.

I don't have small hands and it pretty much covers my palm.

My Week was a Lot Like This Picture!

I've been having a pretty rotten time at work lately.  I can identify with Ambrose here!

Grandma's Necklace

I want to show you the pretty necklace that Sima Gilady made for my mother.  I was excited to find this necklace because Sima was able to fit my mom's 3 daughters and 5 grandchildren's names on one delicate silver circle.  I can't wait to give it to my mom as a present from all of us!

Disclosure: This was not a sample or sent for review. I just wanted to share it.
