My daughter (10) has been riding a little less then a year. I'm so impressed with how hard she works and how she doesn't give up.
When my husband was my fiancee (about 27 years ago) he would say that we were going to buy the old family farm and raise chickens, goats, etc. I would get so furious with him that I would cry! Well here I am on the family farm with chickens, children, dogs, ducks, rabbits, and goats and I'm loving it (mostly.) I enjoy photography (contact me to order prints), my family, and farm.
I loved seeing these pictures! My sister was an avid horesman - lived and breathed horses up until the day she died. She was NOT a baby person at all but I remember the day I found out I was having a daughter and how happy she was at the thought of turning another girl into a horse lover. I have no doubt that if she had lived my daughter would have had a pony at her farm with its name attached to my Noelle the minute she was old enough to ride. Thanks for the memory :)
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for checking out my blog and suggesting so good reading. I really appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteThe horse your daughter is riding looks exactly like my old horse. So cute! Learning to ride is a great skill, she's lucky she started that young. :)
I'm also your newest follower.
Happy Wordless Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteI love the photos. I always wished I could have got into horse riding. We had a horse for awhile but I just couldn't release my fears. I think classes might have helped. Your daughter's horse is very beautiful. I hope she sticks with the adventure.
I hope you are having a fabulous day and thanks for linking up!
