Wordless Wednesday

Here is the quilt that my sister and I made for our niece.  My mother cross-stiched a pretty heart of flowers with her name in it (at the top of the quilt.)  Then there is our mom holding our little love just a few days after she was born.

My daughter's colored pencil drawing of Po's castle from the book Graceling by Kristin Cashore.  She titled it Castle on the Cliff but I knew which castle it was as soon as I saw it. We love to read and it's fun to discuss books with her.

It's an excellent book and we highly recommend it!

I wish the pictures captured how pretty the original is.
