SeaBuck Complete Equine Supplement

A new product arrived in the mail and I'm excited to try it out!  It's SeaBuck Complete and it is a health supplement for horses.

I know I've mentioned before that I'm a big believer in supplements for my family and my animals.  I can't wait to start our horse on this one.  In fact, after reading the health benefits that come from this little berry, I'm looking into the human version as well.

SeaBuck is a liquid supplement so it's easy to add it right in the daily grain.  It's made from sea buckthorn berries and seeds which have been used as a health supplement for thousands of years by humans.  Sea buckthorn is full of antioxidants, carotenoids, healthy oils (Omega 3,6, 7 and 9 fatty acids), and contains more than 190 biologically active compounds.

SeaBuck is good for digestive health, skin and coat, performance, and joint mobility.  As I use this product, I'll be sharing my personal experience.

What do you use as a supplement?

Some of the information above is from the SeaBuck website and this article by Chris Kilham

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Horse Show - June 2013 (pic heavy)

Photos of our 4-H Fun Show in June 2013

This was our first time using our new awning at a horse show.  We loved being able to have a shady place to sit during the long, hot, sunny day.  We were also amused to discover  that our horse, Bell, loved the awning and would get under it with us while resting between classes.  It was nice that she was also able to enjoy the shade with us.

Bell was such a good girl all day.  Win or lose (there was some of both) we had a great day!

Wordless Wednesday - Horses are Good for Girls!

My daughter is so cool!  One of her best friends is a horse named Bell.  I love seeing how she has matured, gained confidence, and become a good caretaker thanks to her love of this horse.

It's Spring and horses shed

There's more hair on the girl then on the horse

Just a couple of beautiful gals

Pick up your hoof Bell!

Filthy hoof prior to being picked

A game she plays with Bell.  She takes off the lead rope and Bell follows her around like a puppy.

Ok, so it wasn't wordless.  : )  Thank you for visiting!!

Horsey Wordless Wednesday

My daughter (10) has been riding a little less then a year.  I'm so impressed with how hard she works and how she doesn't give up.
