I LOVE (love love) Daylight Savings Time

I went out at 7pm and the sun was still shining. Amazing!  And who needs sunshine at 5am?  Not me that's for sure.  I say we go to daylight savings time all year long.  Keep all of the sunshine for when I'm awake.

My only complaint is that as I'm getting older I notice a bit of "jet-lag" each time the time changes.  Anyone else have that issue?

What do you think?

  1. I am totally with you. We love to be outside in the evenings. We spent most of the week last week at the shop until 9 pm with the doors wide open, it was fabulous. So my vote is with you!
    Blessings!

  2. Sorry, but here in Indiana we used to not change times which means we should NOT be on the same time as New York City right now; we should be on the same time as Chicago. The girls were just starting to get on the bus in the light;now they are back to getting on in the dark, and that is not as safe. Also getting them to go to bed at 8:00 when the sun is still shining brightly in their room is NO treat. Even if we had black out shades, they know the sun is still up!

    Nope, not a fan.

  3. I love the extra sunlight. It makes me so much happier in general. And we can spend more time outdoors which really helps with two active boys. We actually did well with the change this time. Usually the boys have trouble adjusting. But we had no "jet-lag" this time, myself included.
