Don't know what kind of caterpillar it is, but it's pretty cool. I saw it on the first day of school this year.

When my husband was my fiancee (about 27 years ago) he would say that we were going to buy the old family farm and raise chickens, goats, etc. I would get so furious with him that I would cry! Well here I am on the family farm with chickens, children, dogs, ducks, rabbits, and goats and I'm loving it (mostly.) I enjoy photography (contact me to order prints), my family, and farm.
My favorite part is the spike he has on his hiney.
ReplyDeleteOh, I like those :) The other year we found one that looked similar but much more exotic...green with orange/brown. My husband picked it up (he's a bug lover) and after 30 seconds was howling in pain. It was a full grown saddle-backed catterpillar and they stink like nothing else. His whole palm was swelled up and felt like it was on fire. We watch closely for them now :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Wednesday! And yes, you can borrow the cat...she's so skiddish, she would dust under all your beds!
Oh neat I have never seen one that looks like that!
ReplyDeletemy boys would be so interested in looking at that thing lol. following you back btw.
